LongyearbyenAfter breakfast your guide will meet you at the hotel reception at the starting time of the trip. Before heading off to the dog yard, we will have a brief introduction of the trip. The drive is about 10km before and a 100 huskies are eager to meet you. Bolterdalen is the starting point of the adventure and the place we go through the routines of dog sledding before everyone helps out getting the dog sleds ready. Time and distance dog sledding depend on snow conditions and the efficiency of the group. At the end of the trip we reverse the routine by following the dogs back to their houses, taking off the harnesses and give them few pats and a hug before saying goodbye.
